Team Lund (Isabelle, Cecilia, and Nils), together with the NGO Transitions, hosted the ECREA Pre-conference “Communication and Democratic Resilience: Perspectives and Pathways.” Bringing together scholars and practitioners, listening to a great contribution from other INFLU-NORD scholars (Team Helsinki with Salla, Nuppu, and Hanna), discussing questions of democratic resilience, and further developing our network really created momentum for our work in INFLU-NORD.

Brilliant INFLU-NORD Scientific Board of Advisory member and Branch Chief of NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence, Päivi Tampere, hosted a very insightful and though-provoking seminar on non-human influencers for the INFLU-NORD team. A big thank you, Päivi, for hosting this great seminar!

Team Lund (Isabelle, Cecilia, and Nils) co-hosted the conference track “Understanding and Enacting Resilience in Times of Uncertainty” at the 28th Nordic Academy of Management (NFF) Conference at Aarhus University, Denmark. Many great insights on different aspects of resilience from a management and organization perspective, which will be important for our work with INFLU-NORD!

Out of 84 eligible proposals, NordForsk selected our project, “The double edge of social media influencing: Participatory antagonism and communicative resilience in the Nordics (INFLU-NORD)”, for funding. Our project was submitted to the call “Antagonistic threats challenging societal security in the Nordic and Baltic countries”. The NordForsk board decided to fund INFLU-NORD with 12,240,00 NOK.
